Super lovely and hospitable staff. Must-try homemade mazapán and coffee cortega.

The service was fast and friendly. The gazpacho was delicious. The sandwich was warm and tasty, but don’t be expecting an American Dagwood sandwich. It was fresh bread with a small amount of meat and that’s the way sandwiches are in Europe. I really appreciate the music was nice instrumental, jazz rather than ‘80s American pop hits that seem to be playing in every other restaurant in town.

Stopped for a light lunch before taking the train. Great service and value for money. Had excellent tortilla and a tuna salad washed down by a glass of beer. We ate outside but the inside restaurant looked very stylish and the toilets were absolutely immaculate. The outside tables are on the footpath and the view is "unique" but don't be put off. The quality of the food is more important and you can always eat inside but being Irish we eat outside at every opportunity!

We came to the restaurant as a quick dinner before getting in to the train back to Madrid. The food was awesome and the attention even better. The owner’s attention and care for food was apparent from the beginning. I really recommend it. Don’t leave Toledo without trying this restaurant!

About this restaurant:It’s not only the quality of the food but the quality of the ingredients used to cook the food.for example: the French fries are done with virgin olive oil (forget about this in the USA), the orange juice squeeze, and the Ribera del Duero (house) wine is simply marvelous.Last but not least the owner is a gentleman and flexible, he has the capacity to help your kids to find the right food for them on the menu based on what they like.
